Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wonderful!!
Wonderful book. Lots of graphics and history. I will be using this book when I go to Egypt next Spring.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Don't Go Without This
I've been to Egypt twice before, and on my third trip I decided to bring this guide with me, and am I ever glad I did. Though I am quite familiar with the bigger sites, the maps in this book are not to be outdone, and I was impressed by the list of smaller sites I had never considered visiting before.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wow
This book is absolutely wonderful. The maps, historical descriptions, diagrams...everything. It's just a high-quality book all the way around.

You don't have to be on your way to Egypt to enjoy this book. Just read it to learn about the country and the archaeological sites.

I checked this out from the library, but now that I have read it, I want to buy it. I actually own the DK guide to Jerusalem and the Holy Land, and that book is laid out in a similar fashion. I have not read it yet, but now, having read this one, I know I am going to enjoy it greatly when I get around to it.
